golf pROGRAM overview

Giving GOD the Honor, Glory, and the Praise! The First Baptist Church of Glenarden (FBCG) Golf ministry provides FBCG members and friends an opportunity for sharing the word of God while fellowshipping and enjoying the game golf.

Purpose

The Vision for this year’s Golf program is to (1) host a golf outing in the near future; (2) conduct monthly fellowship outing at nearby golf courses; and to (3) disseminate other golfing news from around our area. Golfing news may consist of local golfing events, golf tournaments, opportunity to participate in a golf league, and/or other local golfing news.

Additionally, as we continue to build on our golf ministry we will be discussing/establishing plans to expand this program to include providing golfing instructions for all ages, hosting an annual golf outing/tournament, participating or establishing a summer golf league and much more!

To achieve these goals, volunteers are essential! If you wish to assist in this endeavor, please contact the golf coordinator and share how you would like to assist.

Eligibility and Age

The Golf program (at the present time) is limited to adults (ages 18 and older).  However, as expressed in the Vision we will look into ways to provide support for our youth.
